"Got stuck paying customs fees"
I ended up having to pay customs fees when my order arrived, definitely wasn’t expecting that. Not exactly thrilled about it — it kind of took the shine off the purchase.

In the end, I got exactly what I needed without any hassle. Ordering was really simple, I found my frames quickly, and checkout went through smoothly with no trouble at all.

I ordered a pair of glasses from polette and realized pretty much right after paying that I’d made a small mistake. I figured there would be a quick way to fix it, but there really wasn’t, which was frustrating.
They did eventually reply, but it felt a bit slow and not very flexible. For something like online glasses, I expected it to be easier to adjust an order right after checkout. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just kind of annoying.
"Am I the only one who had slow delivery?"
Am I the only one who found Polette’s delivery a bit unpredictable? I ordered glasses and they definitely took longer to arrive than I expected. The tracking did update, but it wasn’t always super clear, so I spent a while not really knowing when the package would actually show up. It did arrive fine in the end, so no major disaster, but the timing just didn’t feel that reliable. Not terrible overall, just something I think could be better

"Fine at first, but not for all-day wear"
At first I thought these were going to be okay, and for short stretches they kind of are. But after wearing them for a few hours, I started noticing the discomfort more and more. It’s one of those things where you’re fine walking around, then suddenly you’re thinking about your feet instead of whatever you’re doing. Maybe someone else would have a different experience, but for me they just weren’t comfy enough for long wear.

"Payment was quick and easy"
I paid for my glasses on polette.com it was super straightforward. I was expecting maybe some annoying checkout thing but nope, it just, anyway, it went smoothly.
My card worked on the first try, no endless spinning screen or random error page popping up. The confirmation came through fast too, which I always appreciate because I like knowing the payment actually went through.
Not much else to say really. The whole thing just worked the way it should, and that’s kind of all I wanted. Easy 5 stars from me...

I wasn’t sure at first because the code didn’t seem to go through right away, so I almost thought I’d done something wrong. I tried it one more time and it worked, though. Checkout was straightforward, and I ended up saving a bit of money.

"Good glasses, pickup could be clearer"
I ordered a pair of glasses from polette and chose to pick them up in store. Overall, the glasses turned out well and the price felt reasonable to me. The staff were friendly enough when I got there, so no complaints on that side. The only thing that threw me off was the pickup process. I ended up waiting longer than I expected, and the email instructions weren’t super clear, at least from how I read them. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I think a little more detail in the pickup message would make the whole thing feel smoother

polette was okay overall. The prices definitely look good, but I kind of wish they were more upfront about things like shipping times and the lens options. Before buying, not all the details felt super clear, so I had to look around a bit more than expected.

The glasses were okay, but I ended up returning them because the fit just wasn’t right for me. I’ve ordered glasses online before, so I kind of knew fit could be hit or miss. The return process itself wasn’t difficult, but it did move a little slowly. I did get my refund in the end, just later than I expected.

"Decent support, but slower than others"
Customer service did get back to me and they were polite, but the replies took a couple of days each time. Compared to some competitors I’ve used, the response time felt a bit slow. They did help me sort things out in the end, so it wasn’t a bad experience, just average overall.

The staff were super nice and made the whole thing feel really easy. They helped me look through frames and gave helpful suggestions without making me feel rushed at all. Overall, just a really pleasant experience.

My glasses were totally fine for the first few months, so I thought I’d made a good choice. But after about a year, the hinges started getting loose. It’s not the worst thing ever, but I definitely expected them to hold up better. I feel kind of stupid for trusting them and assuming the quality would last longer.

I booked an eye test through polette.com and, i was surprised by how many time slots were available. Maybe I’m just used to other places making you wait weeks, but I kept thinking I must be missing something. I ended up choosing a slot after work, got the confirmation quickly, and that was it. Really simple and no hassle.

I ordered my glasses from polette after seeing a few other people say the process was straightforward, my experience was the same. The tracking was easy to follow, and I got email updates whenever my order moved to the next step, so I never felt like I had to wonder what was going on. Delivery took about as long as they said it would, and the communication was clear enough for me. Overall, I’m really happy with how it went.

"The PD guide made online ordering way less stressful"
I’d been putting off ordering glasses online because the whole pupillary distance thing felt like something I was probably going to mess up. To me, that number always seemed like one of those “leave it to the optician” details, so I was a little hesitant at first.
polette’s PD guide was actually really straightforward, though. I followed the steps at home with a ruler, then did it again just to make sure I wasn’t being overly optimistic, and I got the same result both times. That made me feel a lot more comfortable going through with the order.
When the glasses arrived, they felt right pretty much immediately. No strange blur, no headache, and no feeling like my eyes were trying to adjust to something off. For me, the guide took away the main worry I had, so I’d definitely feel fine ordering again.

"Plenty of frames to choose from"
I was a little surprised by how many frames were actually available on polette. Most of the time I find a pair I like and then, of course, it’s out of stock, but here pretty much most of the styles I clicked on seemed ready to order.
It made the whole thing feel way easier and less like I was wasting time. I ended up ordering a pair I liked right away, and overall I’m happy with how it went. Definitely feels like a 5-star experience to me

"Wish I’d Bought These Sooner"
I didn’t expect much, but these turned out way better than I thought. The frames feel sturdy and not cheap at all, and the lenses are really clear. I’ve been wearing them every day and haven’t had any problems. They did take a little while to arrive, which was kind of annoying, but my only real regret is not ordering them sooner.
